1.) For user safety, start with your sound levels very low to avoid any hearing damage. It is the user's responsibility to take the proper precautions. Omny Acoustics, LLC is not responsible for any hearing loss or damage due to the use of this application.

2.) Even for demostrative purposes, this application requires the use of headphones. Several other factors affect the validity of the results. Further setup and troubleshooting tips will be added soon.

For realistic and completely accurate results, this application requires the use of a calibrated system including headphones and a smartphone and/or PC. Unless you are already using a packaged Omny VR Kit, please contact Omny Acoustics at info@omnyacoustics.com to schedule a calibration of your system.

You may notice the levels are VERY quiet, or even inaudible for some room/noise combinations. This is normal and is represents the realistic levels you would expect to hear in the actual room. Some rooms will have better noise isolation than others, and some noises are quieter than others. Due to the way in which we hear sound at different levels, if you artificially increase the noise levels to unrealistic levels, you should not expect to be able to make realistic comparisons between rooms.
